Take in the beauty of classic architecture and alluring candlelight as you
stroll through lovely Edenton, NC. The 28th annual Christmas Candlelight Tour
will include a self-guided walking tour of homes in Edenton’s historic district,
beautifully decorated for the holidays. Additional Holiday Weekend events are
the Annual Groaning Board at the James Iredell House, the Annual Wassail Bowl at
the Cupola House, Holiday Repast at the Barker House (headquarters for the
event), Caroling in the 1767 Chowan County Courthouse, Chowan Arts Council’s
Confection Perfection where refreshments and entertainment can be enjoyed both
days and an Old Fashion Christmas Parade on Saturday at 11 am are all among this
year’s seasonal favorites.
Tour the public home's in all their glory and
then refresh yourself with lunch at the "Nothing Fancy Cafe". Following lunch,
you are off to see a tour of the private homes that are not available to the
public regularly, but are just for you!
